GNDF Executive Assembly Board

The GNDF Executive Assembly Board is the primary policy-making body of the Forum, responsible for setting the overall strategic direction and governance framework of GNDF.

GNDF Executive Secretariat
Coordinate. Implement. Deliver.
The Global Namibia Diaspora Forum (GNDF) Executive Secretariat, headquartered in London, serves as the principal executive arm of GNDF. It is responsible for strategic planning, programme coordination, financial and administrative management, and the implementation of decisions of the Executive Assembly and Advisory Council.
The Secretariat plays a central role in ensuring that GNDF’s policies and initiatives are effectively executed and aligned with the Forum’s mission to promote and protect the interests of Namibians in the diaspora.
Led by an Executive Director, the Executive Secretariat operates in accordance with GNDF’s institutional vision and mission, providing the leadership and coordination required to deliver impactful programmes and drive the Forum’s global agenda.

- Strategic planning and management of GNDF programmes
- Implementation of decisions from the Board and Executive Assembly
- Organisation and coordination of GNDF meetings and events

GNDF Advisory Board

The GNDF Advisory Board serves as a strategic advisory and oversight body, providing expert guidance, policy input, and independent insight to support the development and implementation of GNDF’s programmes and initiatives.
It works closely with the Executive structures to ensure that GNDF remains effective, strategically aligned, and responsive to the needs of Namibians globally.
Role & Function
The Advisory Board is responsible for:
- Providing strategic guidance and policy recommendations
- Offering expert input on GNDF programmes and initiatives
- Supporting alignment between activities and long-term organisational objectives
- Ensuring GNDF’s work remains relevant to the global Namibian diaspora

GNDF Regional Chapters

GNDF Regional Chapters represent the Forum’s operational presence across key regions globally, serving as the primary interface between GNDF and Namibian diaspora communities.
These chapters ensure that GNDF’s vision, mission, and programmes are effectively implemented at regional level, while remaining responsive to the unique needs, opportunities, and priorities of each diaspora community.

- Promoting GNDF’s mission, vision, and initiatives within their respective regions
- Facilitating member engagement, networking, and community participation
- Supporting the implementation of GNDF programmes and activities at regional level
- Identifying regional opportunities for investment, collaboration, and enterprise development
- Acting as a communication bridge between members and the GNDF Executive Secretariat
- Contributing to the growth, coordination, and strengthening of GNDF’s global network
- Providing guidance and fostering cooperation with government, corporate, and institutional partners

It serves as a central coordination hub, facilitating communication, engagement, and collaboration between the Global Namibia Diaspora Forum (GNDF), the Government of the Republic of Namibia, and key national stakeholders.

The Liaison Office supports the GNDF Executive Secretariat by:
- Strengthening relationships between GNDF, the Government of Namibia, and national stakeholders
- Enhancing communication and coordination across institutions and mechanisms in Namibia
- Facilitating the exchange of information, expertise, and collaboration between stakeholders
- Supporting the implementation of Namibia’s National Diaspora Policy
- Promoting active diaspora participation in national development initiatives
- Enhancing national capacity for effective diaspora integration and engagement
